DMPG expands use of Schedule360® Nurse Scheduling Software to automate Float Pool Shifts across 68 Facility Locations

DeKalb Medical Physicians Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlanta-based, Dekalb Medical Health System recently completed the roll-out of Schedule360® for the management of Float Pool Employee shifts across 68 Clinic Locations in Metro Atlanta.
Eliminating the Chaos of Multi-Site Scheduling:
Kim McCallum, DMPG Float Pool Supervisor explains, “Prior to utilizing Schedule360® we employed a manual process for scheduling our staff across 68 locations. This was nothing short of a nightmare. managing the ever-changing availability of Staff through phone calls, texts, and emails while balancing the many, various shift needs from the facilities. Schedule360® has allowed our Clinic Managers the ability to enter needs directly into the system instead of Calling, Texting, Emailing, or Faxing. These needs are then matched to employees based on Licensure, Skills, and geographic location. Our Full-time and PRN Employees are now scheduled well in advance of their shifts which has increased satisfaction greatly. Assignment locations, shift hours, and schedule changes by the clinics, can now be easily communicated to the Staff, directly to their cell phones through the Schedule360® Mobile Site. In addition to normal shifts, we can now better manage last-minute critical openings through a one-click Cell and Email dispatch to all available, qualified Staff. The overall transparency of the schedule is allowing us the ability to better optimize all Employee Availability, including our PRN Staff, which translates into higher fill rates and ultimately, better care for patients.”
